"Repast by the River": Firefly Farm Dinner 2012

Posted 7/12/2012 2:27pm by Elizabeth Gibbs.

Join us on Sunday, September 9th at 5PM for our annual on-farm dinner.  We set up a large tent in our pasture along the river and serve a multi-course dinner complete with hors d'ouevres, wine,  dessert and live music. As always, this dinner showcases our very own Devon beef and fresh vegetables in the serene pastoral setting of our farm.  This year's event pairs chef Nate Allen of Knife & Fork restaurant and an open pit Firefly Devon steamship round. Tickets for this not-to-miss event are $60 each and go on sale August 1st, 2012. RSVP required. Purchase tickets at the Asheville City Market (Saturdays 8-1) or the Montford Farmers Market (Wednesdays 2-6) or call us at the farm 828-675-4739.

It all starts with this...

Starts with this...

Then this...

Then this...

And ends with this!

And ends with this!

If our government could not get water and bagged ice to Katrina victims, it sure can\'t handle anything like this if it were to occur. I suppose the good news is that since they can sequence it quicker, more of us will get to know the exact genetic composition of the virus that is going to get us before we catch it.

Snazzy jerk internet page, as a consequence of the writer if you ask me he did this incredibly straight from the upper body
