Firefly Farm 2012 CSA Market Share

Once again we are excited to offer our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. This year we are also making a Market Share available.

We grow many interesting and unique varieties of vegetables using organic, biodynamic and permaculture methods. The mountain microclimate allows us the ability to offer things like tender leafy greens through the heat of summer. When you join our CSA you will be sharing the rewards and risks of farming. In addition to weekly fresh, delicious, sustainably grown vegetables, members are invited to enjoy the beauty of the farm and receive a 10% discount on farm events (dinners).

Our season is May through October. Choose from a Share size of $250 or $450. We advise folks to use their balance by the end of October since late season offerings are limited. If you pay your Share in full by February 15 you will receive a 5% bonus in veggies, that is $12.50 for a $250 share or $22.50 for a $450 share. Your investment in the season’s veggies helps us buy seed, supplies, soil amendments, ag fabric, deer fencing, and more.

How it works: With each week’s produce pick up you will receive a note listing any changes in the next week’s offerings. Pre-orders can be given by phone and are automatically deducted from your balance. We will send out balances periodically. You may also use the Market Share and pick up produce at the markets where we vend. Just come to the market to pick from what’s available that week and your total is recorded and deducted from your balance. Remember the Market Share is first come first served. If you want to secure certain items we suggest that you pre-order.

Note: Our 100% grass fed Devon beef is sold separately from the CSA program. If you wish to order please contact us. Our beef is very popular and we sell out of certain cuts early.
